Amanda Bynes will not retire after all.
The 24-year-old actress apparently changed her mind on Friday, tweeting, ”I’ve unretired.” Amanda then plugged an ad for her next flick Easy A, due in theaters September 17th.
As previously reported on Teen Chive, Amanda announced her premature retirement last month on Twitter:
“Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem,” she wrote. “If I don’t love something anymore, I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore, so I’ve stopped doing it. I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve #retired.”
Easy A tells the story of a high school girl whose life parallels “The Scarlett Letter,” until she finds a way to use the rumor mill to her personal advantage.
