27 year-old singer Amy Winehouse was buried today at the Edgwarebury Cemetery in London. The funeral was attended by around 200 of her closest friends and family, including Kelly Osbourne, Reg Traviss (Amy’s boyfriend), and Mark Ronson (Amy’s producer). After the ceremony the friends and family attended a cremation at a nearby synagogue.
Amy’s father Mitch delivered a eulogy for the singer which was described as heartfelt.
“[He] told some great stories from childhood about how headstrong she was.”
“[He] stressed so many times she was happier now than she had ever been and he spoke about her boyfriend and paid tribute to a lot of people in her life.”
