Taylor Swift is arguably the most popular celebrity right now – although some could say that Justin Bieber is more popular – but she still wants regular thins for Christmas. Taylor, 22, recently revealed her Christmas list to People magazine, and surprisingly its full of basic items.

“[My list] includes a pasta maker, antique picture frames and anything from Free People or Anthropologie,” Taylor said.

In addition to items that she wants, Taylor also revealed what she wants for her fans this Christmas.

“I hope that they’re happy, wherever they are … [that] they feel loved by the people around them,” she said. “And most of all I hope they feel appreciated by me. My life would look nothing like this without them.”

Unlike other young celebrities (ie. MILEY CYRUS), 21 year-old Taylor Swift embraces the fact that she is a role model for kids. Taylor has to be one of the cleanest celebrities in Hollywood. She is never in the center of controversy, and we never hear about her having sex or see her wearing anything provocative.

“I definitely think about a million people when I’m getting dressed in the morning, and that’s just part of my life now,” Taylor said to 60 Minutes. “I think it’s my responsibility to know it and to be conscious of it.”

Taylor is also grateful that she has influence over today’s generation of young people through her song lyrics.

“It would be really easy to say ‘I’m 21 now, I do what I want. You raise your kids!’” She said. “But it’s not the truth of it. The truth of it is that every singer out there with songs on the radio is raising the next generation.”

I’m sure Taylor has helped many teenage girls get through difficult break-ups or whatever relationship problems they may be dealing with. Taylor Swift is one of the few celebrity role models, and the world needs more.

After listening to the hundreds of break up songs that Taylor Swift has written it is kind of obvious to see why she doesn’t want to be in a relationship. Because she doesn’t want to get her heart broken, one would assume.

The 21 year-old officially revealed her current relationship status on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and went out of her way to let everyone know that she is single.

“I for real don’t have a boyfriend. I sit by myself and I watch Law & Order. I don’t have a boyfriend. I don’t even have like kind of a boyfriend. I don’t have someone that I’m texting that is a guy that someday might be my boyfriend. There’s like nothing going on right now.”

She added:

“If you’re the girl that needs a boyfriend and once she loses that boyfriend, needs to replace it with a different boyfriend…it’s just this constant stream of boyfriends all the time. I don’t feel like I ever want to be that girl. I want to be the girl that when she falls in love. It’s a big deal and it’s a rare thing.”

The girl that she was referring to who always needs a boyfriend sounds a lot like Selena Gomez, who is a close friend of Taylor’s. She went from dating Nick Jonas, to Taylor Lautner, back to Nick Jonas, and finally to Justin Bieber in a very short matter of time.

Most celebrities that have fragrances put all of their time and energy into the smell of the fragrance and not the design of the bottle. Taylor Swift on the other hand focuses on both.

The signer recently appeared on Good Morning America to talk about how the design of her very first fragrance, Wonderstruck, came to be.

“We spent about a year creating this fragrance and that entailed creating the actual fragrance itself, but also I took the designers through my apartment and showed them all the different things I’ve collected, antiques all over the world, and some of the things were like — I have a lot of bird cages in my house, a lot of star lanterns and so that is where we got some of the ideas to put some of the charms around the side of the bottle.”

Wonderstuck is unique in that it has small charms that dangle from the neck of the bottle, and each charm has a special meeting. You gotta love the simple things that Taylor Swift does for her fans.

Congratulations to Taylor Swift! At the age of 21 years-old Taylor has been announced as the youngest female to be chosen for Billboard’s Woman of the Year. This is a very prestigious award for women in the music industry. Beyonce has won it before, and just last year Fergie received the honor of being named Woman of the Year.

“Taylor has shown the power of good songwriting with music that has transcended genres, and we’re thrilled to recognize all of her successes over the past year by honoring her with the Billboard Woman of the Year Award,” Bill Werde, Billboard’s Editorial Director, announced. “At the young age of 21, Taylor has already made a major impact on music and has been an incredible role model for aspiring singers/songwriters and young women everywhere. I look forward to watching her career continue to flourish in the years to come.”

Taylor Swift will formally receive the award in New York City on December 2; less than two weeks before her 22nd birthday.

I never got the memo that Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez are related. Especially with Taylor Swift being caucasian and Selena Gomez being Mexican and Italian. Of course Taylor doesn’t mean that the two are literally sisters, but she sees Selena as one. The two young celebrities have been friends for at least four years and they’ve seen each other through many bad relationships.

“She’s like my little sister, you know?” Taylor said on Kidd Kraddick in the Morning Show. “I have never had such a like a truely sister like relationship with someone, and it’s so cool and really amazing to have a friend for that long. We met when I was like 17, 18 and now I am 21, about to turn 22, so it is amazing with so much going on in our lives that we have stayed so close.”

Sadly, Taylor Swift and her “sister” don’t get to spend much time together because they are always touring. Taylor is currently on her ‘Speak Now Tour’, while Selena is touring with her boyfriend, Justin Bieber, in Brazil. Next week Selena will resume her ‘We Own the Night Tour’ in Canada. Maybe Selena should consider spending less time with Justin and more time with Taylor, because good friends are hard to come by.

After months of anticipation Taylor Swift has unveiled the teaser commercial for her debut women’s fragrance ‘Wonderstruck’. The fragrance, which is named after one of Taylor’s songs, uses the tagline “It’s a spark, a connection, a rush of something new. Once you’ve been struck, you’ll never be the same again.” The commercial is like a modern fairy tale, similar to the video for Taylor’s “Love Story” from 2008.
