It may sound like a silly statement but it’s true — Gregg Sulkin did not choose acting, acting chose him.
The 18 year-old star is featured in the new issue of Teen Vogue and boy does he have a lot to say. In no particular order, Gregg talks about being a momma’s boy, leaving soccer superstardom behind and what really got him into acting.
“I was definitely a mommy’s boy growing up,” Gregg admits. ”She’s going to cry when I show up on their doorstep. And I probably will too.”
Gregg was a very talented soccer player growing up but was unfortunately hit with a devastating injury. Soccer at the time was his “whole life” and he was understandably disappointed. However, through that disappointment he discovered the craft of acting.
“I didn’t ever think about being an actor, but I fell in love with it when I realized how amazing, difficult and interesting it is,” he remarked.
