Earlier this week country singer Taylor Swift was forced to postpone a few scheduled concerts because she caught bronchitis. Has the same disease spread to Katy Perry?
Thankfully, Katy Perry does not have bronchitis. But nevertheless two shows on the singer’s sold-out California Dreams tour have been postponed. These include shows in Chicago on July 8th and St. Paul, Minnesota on July 9th.
Katy described “an attack of food poisoning leading to severe dehydration” as the reason for the cancellation of the shows, and she released a statement to her fans:
“I apologize to my fans in Chicago and the Twin Cities for not being able to perform this weekend, but I am going to return in a few weeks to give them the very best show ever!”
Let’s all hope that Katy Perry gets better and that our favorite singer’s don’t all of a sudden become infected.
