Lauren Conrad has partnered with Natural High Network to create a new PSA about why it’s not wise to do drugs. The successful designer and author talks about her life growing up in Laguna Beach and how her passion for fashion kept her focused and out of trouble.
In the video, LC allows people to get to know her better by sharing childhood photos and stories involving her parents. Lauren recollects that some of her fellow peers began using drugs in school from as early as 6th to 7th grade but always kept her distance from students who experimented.
“You’re getting ready to go to college within a few years and you’re worried about your GPA and worried about your future,” she remarked. “And I think that when you’re so involved in drugs, you have such a lack of interest there, and you just don’t really care about your future.”
LC adds, “I don’t know that there was one specific thing that encouraged me to not do drugs. I just genuinely didn’t want to do them. They didn’t see that cool to me and didn’t look that fun, so I just didn’t really have an interest.”
Check back tomorrow for the actual PSA!
