No only does Andre Mieux have a really cool name, but his music is just as hip.
Andre is your traditional pop/club singer who mixes catchy hooks, flashy beats, harmonizing vocals and an all-around uptempo vibe. His new single, “Off In The Club” is gearing up to be released and TeenChive had the opportunity to catch a sneak peak of the record.
We really think that if you love to dance in the club, you’ll like Andre’s music who cites Van Cliburn, Andre Watts, R. Kelly, Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Lionell Richie, Phil Collins, and Ginuwine as some of his many musical influences.
A little bit more about Andre (from MySpace): Andre grew up in a very musical family, with his extended relatives a part of the Philharmonic(s), Fox TV, and several other major placements in music production and film.
As early as the age of 8, Andre lit the spark of what he would one day call his career. Andre started writing, dancing and singing for a small group called Eagle Wings through his local church in West Covina, CA.
By age 12, Andre had begun producing music with a friend, Grammy winning former member of the Yellowjackets, Ricky Lawson, who turned out to be one of his greatest connections to the music industry.
From there, Andre has been a part of a wide range of projects throughout his career from classical pianist to scoring the feature film, Wigger. Recently, he has had the privilege of working with award winning music video director Tim Cruz, on his new video for Off In The Club. In addition, his song Let Me Be The One became a hit once picked up by the Korean group SS501. He also has worked with Showtime Television on Stunt Divas and Sid Burston Productions on Get Thee Behind Me.
