Is Miley Cyrus too young to guest star as a “celebrity mentor” on the hit show American Idol?
Idol’s executive producer Ken Warwick certainly does not have a problem with the role. “Miley brought an amazing, youthful energy while working with the Idol contestants this past weekend,” Warwick explained. ”Her experience in the music industry and her advice in handling fame at a young age proved invaluable.”
Tomorrow (Wed., March 24th), Miley will perform “When I Look at You” at the Idol’s results show.
Cyrus also sat down with The View this week and discussed her future in the music industry. “I just want to do films because I like being someone else,” Miley told the cast. ”I just feel like the music industry isn’t as positive as I’d like it to be. I’m trying to make people see my work as a real actress and more mature. And when you have someone who loves you and wants you to do well, you really want to help each other, and you want to make each other look good.”
Do you agree with Miley’s decision to go “cold turkey” on the music industry?
