Miranda Cosgrove, the star of iCarly, is now a very, very rich 16-year-old. Quite simply, most individuals her age would kill to have the type of salary Miranda will receive thanks to her new contract with Nickelodeon.
Cosgrove’s new contract with the premium cable channel is said to be in the low-to-mid seven figure range (according to The Hollywood Reporter). The contract stipulates that Miranda will ”continue on the show for the 26 additional episodes the cable network picked up late last year.”
Production on those episodes, which will bring the total number for iCarly to 96, is slated to begin in the Spring.
The contract was a nice gesture to Miranda, considering the actress started on Nickelodeon at age 9 (Drake & Josh) and has remained a faithful employee.
