It turns out that you may not be the only one obsessed with the popular iPhone app Angry Birds.
In fact, it seems like these days even all of Hollywood is talking about Angry Birds. Take Cory Monteith and Pete Wentz for example. The two are openly obsessed with it and would totally support the rumored ”movie version”.
“Angry birds is taking over my life,” Cory admitted in a tweet over the summer. “I’m gonna make an ‘angry birds’ anthem for all the uk peeps,” Pete Wentz added after beating the game last month. Even, Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Fallon have featured the game in their skits and promos.
Since its debut in December of 2009, over 6.5 million copies of the paid app have been downloaded and the free Lite version has been downloaded over 11 million times in 60+ countries. Recently, Angry Birds also became available for Android phones, opening itself to an even broader audience.
It does not stop there, though. According to Variety, the developers want to turn Angry Birds into a multi-platform brand, complete with movies, TV shows, toys and comic books.
