In the latest issue of Vanity Fair, teen heartthrob Steven R. McQueen revs his motorcycle for the ladies.
The Vampire Diaries actor noted about his character Jeremy, “(He is) as messed up as possible in the head,” something that really appealed to Steven when he auditioned for the role.
McQueen also remarked about his deep rooted family history in showbiz, as both his grandfather (the legendary Steve McQueen) and father were actors. However, despite the heritage he was not always convinced that acting was for him.
“When we were living in Detroit, I had a real lack of direction,” he said. “I started watching movies all day long.”
“I watched my grandfather’s projects with admiration and looked up to him, but at the end of the day you have to be true to what’s inside.”
