Quick Facts:  Ashley Tisdale is an American actress, singer, songwriter and television producer who rose to prominence portraying the candy-counter girl Maddie Fitzpatrick in Disney Channel’s The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and the female antagonist Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical film series.

Ashley became the first female artist to debut with two songs simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100, in the week of February 12, 2006, with “What I’ve Been Looking For” and “Bop to the Top”, both songs from the first High School Musical soundtrack.

After High School Musical, Tis’ signed with Warner Bros. Records and launched a solo music career. Her debut album Headstrong, debuted at number five in the U.S. chart with 64,000 copies sold in the first week and was later certified Gold.

She is currently involved with The CW original series, Hellcats.

Interests: Ashley, who has always loved singing, actually performed at the White House at age 12. She is the cousin of inventor and infomercial maven Ron Popeil. Ashley cites Diesel, Bebe, Urban Outfitters and Forever 21 as her favorite clothing brands. Her most prized possession is her new Louis Vuitton bag. She is good friends with Zac Efron and best friends with Brittnay Snow. Her favorite movies are Just Married, My Best Friend’s Wedding and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. She also loves to shop at Hollister.
